Every year, the motocross championship becomes the center of attention of a part of Burgundy. The film follows in the footsteps of Benjamin Gauguin, a young twenty-three-year-old pilot. Surrounded by friends, family and his father, a former regional champion, Benjamin is trying to win his first title.
Born in 1989, Paul Lavau is a filmmaker working on different broadcasting formats. From short films to video performance, his work is essentially based on memory, belonging to the territory and the place of the individual within the group. After studying drawing at the workshops in Sèvres, he continued his training in animated film. His first short film was awarded the Ladislas Starevitch grant in 2011. In 2015, he directed a film for the installation "La Cabine" at Galerie Nivet Carzon. Then, a second short film in 2018, shown at the UGC cinéma cité 19 in Paris.
