At the dawn of his fiftieth birthday, Marc Provencher begins his journey that will take him on 6500 km of gravel road, through northern Quebec and the maritimes.
A native of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Virgil Laferté graduated in Arts and Letters and Bachelor in Cinema from the University of Quebec in Montreal. He works both in the field of documentary as well as in the field of fiction. He directed Namaste (Nepal Project 2007), No Highway (Best Canadian Film TMFF 2018) and Les Oubliées (Télé-Québec Jury Prize, 2018 Documentary Festival).
Filmmaker for more than 10 years, he is in love with image, travel and freedom.
